Alison is a landscape artist based in Northamptonshire. She aims to represent light and to instil a sense of peace and calm in every painting.

Using a technique which involves mixing oil paints with cold wax, several colours are layered onto specialist paper or board which are then blended, while still wet. She then works spontaneously with the effects as they emerge.

Drawn to skies and the way that light changes everything, Alison hopes that the viewer senses the beauty and peace of creation through her work.
