I have a wide range of artistic interests, and particularity enjoy painting architectural watercolours based around picturesque local historic buildings. As a locally born and raised artist, I often capture scenes that I have observed and admired for many years. In contrast to my home studio, my painting style is particularly neat and tidy, and I find a line and wash approach best suits my close attention to detail. Aside from painting I also frame all my own work, and am a keen green wood worker, pole lathe turner, amateur blacksmith and occasional basket maker.
