I studied ceramics at college & taught Art & Pottery for many years to children and adults. I came back to ceramics after 20 years as I wanted to make my own work and now have a work shop at home.
I use many methods and I want to give my work a contemporary feel and lean towards a natural look. I have several themes in my work; smaller naturally themed shapes; slab work including bottles and vases; cylinders with a natural subtle decorative finish; coil pots, large, with emphasis on layering glazes and wheel work.
All my work is stoneware, and I make some of my own glazes.
